Two men have been arrested after Gardaí in Dublin seized almost half a million euro worth of heroin.

Two men have been arrested after Gardaí in Dublin seized almost half a million euro worth of heroin.

Members of the National Drugs and Organised Crime Units stopped and searched two cars in the city yesterday, and uncovered 3kg worth of the drug.

Two men, one aged 61 and the other 28, were arrested.

They are being held at Finglas Garda Station.
