Two men have been arrested after a 30-year-old man was found stabbed to death in Co Limerick overnight.

Two men have been arrested after a 30-year-old man was found stabbed to death in Co Limerick overnight.

The man was was found by gardaí at a house in the Grove area of Pallasgreen shortly after 11pm. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 34-year-old woman is also being treated in hospital for stab wounds following the incident.

Two men aged 20 and 32 have been arrested and are being held at Henry Street and Roxboro Road garda stations.

The State Pathologist is expected at the scene, which has been sealed off this morning.

Gardaí at Bruff station are appealing for witnesses.
