A woman and two teenagers have been taken to hospital after a fire in Darndale in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

A woman and two teenagers have been taken to hospital after a fire in Darndale in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The blaze broke out at a house in Moatview Avenue in Priorswood at 5.20am and four units of the fire brigade attended the scene.

The three females were rescued from the front bedroom of the house and taken to Beaumont hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.

Gardaí are investigating the cause of the blaze.
