Three firefighters burned in Dublin blaze

Three members of the Dublin Fire Brigade are recovering this morning after suffering injuries battling a blaze overnight.

Three members of the Dublin Fire Brigade are recovering this morning after suffering injuries battling a blaze overnight.

A fire broke out in Chartbusters on the lower Kilmacud Road shortly after midnight. Eight units of the fire brigade were called to the scene.

Several shop units were damaged before the fire was brought under control at around 1.30am.

The men were being treated for first and second degree burns to the face and neck but have since been released from hospital.
