Tánaiste hopes Fennelly report will be released today

Tánaiste Joan Burton has said she and Enda Kenny both agree that the Fennelly report needs to be published as soon as possible.

It is her desire that the document could be released as quickly as today.

“I expect and hope that we will actually see the Fennelly report being published later today, subject to the legal clearance by the Attorney General, said Burton.

“The Taoiseach and I are at one in wanting to see the report published and disseminated as quickly as possible. I understand it's probably a fairly hefty door stopper at about 300 pages.”
