A new survey released today shows that salaries for new employees in most jobs are down by up to a fifth since 2008.

The IrishJobs.ie study shows wage expectations have been falling almost across the board since the downturn in the economy.

Bankers have seen their salaries drop on average by 10% to 25% while the construction and hospitality sectors have also been hit hard.
