Shots fired in Cork city' suburb
Gardaí are investigating after shots were fired in the Mahon area of Cork city overnight.
The shots were fired on St Michael's Drive at 1.50am today.
Gardaí say the shots were fired in the direction of a parked car from a silver Honda Civic car that stopped on the road,
The Civic was later discovered burned out and both scenes have been preserved for a technical examination.
No one was injured in the incident.
