Shoppers search for record bargains in sales
Post Christmas sales are underway this morning with many retailers promising record bargains.
The doors of some of the biggest chain stores across the country have already opened, with shoppers scrambling for the best deals.
Retailers say that pre-Christmas figures were down on last year.
David Fitzsimons, spokesperson with Retail Excellence Ireland says this will benefit shoppers.
