Search underway for man missing off Dublin coast
A search is underway for a man believed to be missing off Howth in Co Dublin.
It follows reports of a person in difficulty in the water in Balscadden Bay shortly after 7pm yesterday evening.
A search operation was carried out involving the coast guard unit and the helicopter.
Rescue efforts are continuing this morning.
The search has been stood down for now
