Rugby player dies after collapsing on pitch

A 31-year-old rugby player has died after collapsing during training in Co Down over the weekend.

A 31-year-old rugby player has died after collapsing during training in Co Down over the weekend.

Graham Ryans, a father-of-two from Bangor Down, was training at his local club on Saturday when he became ill.

Friends tried to resuscitate him before he was rushed to hospital, where he later died.

He is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
