Report: Man shot dead in Co Cavan
Reports are coming in of a fatal shooting in Ballieborough in Co Cavan.
It is understood the man whose body was found earlier today, had been shot.
Gardaí in Baileborough have said they are investigating the body found in a house in the town which was discovered shortly after midday.
The area has been sealed off and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
