Sean Quinn Junior will be at the Supreme Court today for his appeal against his imprisonment for contempt of court.
He is challenging a three-month jail sentence imposed by the High Court for breaching orders put in place to stop assets in the Quinn's International Property Group from being moved around.
The appeal is scheduled for hearing today and tomorrow at the Supreme Court.
Last week Mr Quinn Jnr's lawyers secured his temporary release from Mountjoy Prison on both days so he can attend the case.
He was jailed in July by Ms Justice Elizabeth Dunne for breaching court orders restraining asset stripping of €500m worth of assets in the Quinn's International Property Group.
The judge described the contempt as "outrageous".
Sean Quinn Jnr is contesting the finding and the punishment imposed by the court.
His bankrupt father remains free so as to assist IBRC while his cousin Peter Darragh Quinn should be in jail but is at large after he failed to show up in court.
