PSNI investigate reports of explosion in Newtownabbey
Police in the North are investigating reports of an explosion near police officers who were in the Hazelbank area of Newtownabbey last night.
No-one was injured during the incident.
Meanwhile, a security alert is continuing on the M5 from Greencastle to the Hazelbank roundabout in North Belfast this afternoon.
It is expected to be closed for some time, in both directions, and drivers should avoid the area.
