Professionals urged to seek help on 'World Mental Health Day'
Professionals are urging people to seek help if they are concerned about their mental health.
Tha is the message to mark 'World Mental Health Day' which takes place today.
Research commissioned by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy shows that 52% of people over 65 would be most likely to seek professional help for health worries.
The Professional Services manager with the IACP, Shane Kelly said this report shows there has been a change in attitude towards mental health issues in recent years.
