PricewaterhouseCoopers to recruit 500 next year
PricewaterhouseCoopers is to recruit more than 500 people in Ireland next year.
The international professional services firm says that number is made up of 300 graduate positions and 200 posts for more senior professional staff.
The jobs at PwC will be in areas of assurance, technology, digital, data analytics and cybersecurity.
The company, which employs more than 3,000 people in Ireland, said that it hopes the announcement will encourage more Irish abroad to come home.

PwC Ireland managing partner Feargal O'Rourke said that the company is looking for quality staff.
“One of the big lessons we learned, and I learned, back in the crash was – if you keep the bar high for people and recruit really quality people, in good times and bad, they’ll see you well,” he said.
“And I think it’s a lesson for all of us, for all industry, and one of the things in this recruitment campaign is we’re determined to keep our recruitment bar high.
“Get quality people and you’ll do well, you’ll come out of any recession.”
It has also been announced that Microsoft is hiring 100 professionals and graduates for its operations in Dublin, along with 60 interns.
Microsoft Ireland managing director Cathriona Hallahan said: “We’re looking to attract people who are good creative thinkers, who have that kind of growth mindset.
“Our culture in the organisation is changing, we’re really evolving into more of a services organisation, so we need that customer obsession and I believe the talent is definitely here in Ireland.”
