Two new opinion polls out this morning show strong support for the EU fiscal treaty among decided voters.

Both the Sunday Business Post and the Sunday Independent find those who have already made up their minds would vote in favour - with 60% of those polled for the Business Post voting yes, while almost 40% of those surveyed for the Sunday Independent said they would be in favour of the treaty.

The Red C Poll for the Sunday Business Post also reveals that support is on the up for Sinn Féin - which is now the most popular opposition party on 18%, ahead of Fianna Fáil, which fell by one point to 17%.

Fine Gael is top of the pile on 30% while support for Labour rose to 16% and 'independents and others' stand at 19%.
