A new poll shows voters would prefer Micheál Martin as Taoiseach.
The poll says 39% of people would rather see the Fianna Fáil leader in charge while 17% would choose Enda Kenny.
Just over half (54%) of Fine Gael voters want Mr Kenny to be elected Taoiseach, with most preferring Leo Varadkar as leader.
84% of Fianna Fáil voters supported Micheál Martin for Taoiseach.
It also found that 70% of us would not change how we voted if a second General Election were called, and that most want a new government formed now in preference to having anotehr election.
The Millward Brown survey for the Sunday Independent poll comes as efforts to form a Government continue.
Both Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are due to resume talks with Independents tomorrow.
