Two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Dublin last week.

Pair arrested in connection with off-licence raid

Two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery in Dublin last week.

The men, who are aged in their early 20s and 40s, are being questioned in connection with a raid on an off-licence in Clonsilla at around 3pm on Friday afternoon.

One man, believed to have been armed with a firearm, entered the off-licence, threatened staff and left with an amount of cash.

A second man remained outside the off-licence in a car.

No shots were fired and nobody was injured during the incident.

The two men who have been arrested are being questioned at Blanchardstown garda station.
