A man and a juvenile have been arrested in connection with the killing of Edward Nugent in Dublin.
The 64-year-old was shot outside his home in Walkinstown on February 15, in what is believed to have been a case of mistaken identity.
The two males were detained following planned searches this morning involving gardaí from Crumlin, Sundrive and assisted by gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
The man in his 20s and the juvenile were arrested early this morning and taken to Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda stations.
They are being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
