Operation Thor sees four arrested after seizures of cannabis, cigarettes and cash in Co Kildare
Gardaí have arrested four men after seizing cannabis, cigarettes and cash in Athy, Co Kildare this morning.
The cannabis, which is worth in the region of €15,000, was found with 20 kilos of tobacco and €13,000 in cash.
Small amounts of cannabis and heroin were seized at two other locations in the town as part of Operation Thor.
One of the four men arrested has been charged for an offence under the Non Fatal Offences Against the person Act 19.
