Minister for Finance Michael Noonan said today that "all will be all right" when it comes to the latest bailout review by the Troika.
Speaking at a conference in Dublin this morning, Minister Noonan said this will allow us access to more funding.
The EU, IMF and ECB will give its assessment of Ireland's progress under the terms of the deal later this morning, but it is understood that Ireland has met all of its commitments.
Minister Noonan also said that better-than-anticipated progress has been made on talks with the Troika to move some of Irish Life and Permanent's loss making loans into a so-called "bad bank".
"It's part of the ongoing discussion but last night they seemed to be making more progress than anticipated, so we'll see where it has landed by about mid-morning today," he said.
"But it's been on the agenda for some time, the future of PTSB."
