New campaign encourages the Government to look at men's issues

A new campaign group has been set up to encourage the next Government to focus on issues affecting men.

Men's Voices is asking candidates to prioritise issues like violence against men and male homelessness.

Spokesperson David Walsh has said abuse of men is largely ignored in Irish society: “It’s almost exclusively considered the case of violence against women.

“Whereas there are many many men who do suffer from violence, but their condition is ignored.”
