A missing teenager has been found unconscious with serious head injuries.

A missing teenager has been found unconscious with serious head injuries.

Scott Vineer was last seen leaving his college in Lisburn on Thursday afternoon.

The 17-year-old was discovered on Friday night in the grounds of a disused furniture showroom near the Lagan Towpath.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before he was rushed to hospital, where he is still receiving care for serious head injuries.

Detectives in Lisburn have appealed for information in trying to trace Scott’s movements and how he sustained his injuries.

He is described as 6ft 3ins tall, heavy build, clean shaven with short dark hair.

When he left college in Lisburn shortly before 3pm he was wearing a dark hoodie jacket with a blue t-shirt underneath, dark trousers and a dark beanie hat with an emblem on the front.
