Micheál Martin is promising that Fianna Fáil's election manifesto will be of more substance than what he calls Fine Gael's "con job" five-point plan.
The opposition leader today hinted at his party's plans for the next General Election at a meeting of Fianna Fail Councillors.
Deputy Martin has already flagged health, childcare and employment as key focus points for the campaign.
"We've already flagged some of the issues - like childcare for example, like the whole areas of the exploitation of workers, casual labour and so on - and health," he said.
However, Martin would not say when his manifesto will be revealed in full.
"We'll be looking for more substance than Fine Gael's five-point plan, which was a con job at the time before the last general election - we all know that now."
