A man has died in an overnight road accident in Co Wexford.

Man pronounced dead after crashed car discovered by passing motorist

A man has died in an overnight road accident in Co Wexford.

A crashed car was discovered by a passing motorist at about 11.40pm at Wells, Gorey, Co Wexford.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a man in his 30s, was removed to Wexford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Gardaí are investigating.

The scene is preserved and a forensic examination is expected to take place later today.
