Man killed in Wicklow road accident
A 50-year-old man has been killed, after his motorcycle and a car were in collision near Roundwood in Co Wicklow.
The accident happened shortly before 2pm this afternoon, on the R755 at Ballinastoe.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body removed to St Colmcilles hospital for a post mortem examination.
A second motorcyclist and the driver of the car were taken by ambulance to St Vincent's Hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The road is now closed and local diversions are in place.
