A man in his 30s has been killed in a traffic accident in Co Donegal.

A man in his 30s has been killed in a traffic accident in Co Donegal.

The man died when the lorry he was driving crashed at Bannus, in Pettigo at around 11.30am this morning.

No other vehicle was involved in the incident.

The Laghy to Pettigo road is currently closed while gardaí carry out a forensic collision examination of the scene. Diversions are in place.

Gardaí in Donegal Town are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
