An elderly man is in a serious condition after he was hit by a bus in Dublin today.

An elderly man is in a serious condition after he was hit by a bus in Dublin today.

The pedestrian in his 80s was struck shortly after noon on the Marine Road in Dun Laoghaire.

He sustained serious injuries to his legs and was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.
