A man has been arrested following a robbery at Clare Hall shopping centre in north Dublin.

A man has been arrested following a robbery at Clare Hall shopping centre in north Dublin.

An employee of a cash-in-transit company was carrying a cash box when he was threatened by a man wielding an iron bar.

The man took the cash box and made his escape in a waiting car.

A 20-year-old was arrested and is being held at Coolock Garda Station.

The car used in the raid was found a short distance away, but the cash box is still missing.
