Man due in court in connection with Tallaght murder
A man is due in court later, charged in connection with the murder of Melanie (McCarthy) McNamara in Dublin earlier this year.
The teenage girl was killed during a drive by shooting in Tallaght in February.
The man, who is in his late teens, will appear before Tallaght District Court.
Sixteen-year- old Melanie McNamara was in a car with three men parked outside a house on Brookview Way in Tallaght on the night of February 7, last.
A black SUV pulled up alongside and a gunman opened fire - it is understood one of the men was the intended victim, but Melanie was fatally injured.
A man in his late teens will appear before Tallaght District Court charged in connection with her murder.
He is the second person to be charged over the teenager's death as a 23-year-old man was charged just two weeks after the incident.
