In Dublin, the Railway Procurement Agency has reported that 2012 has been the most successful year to date in terms of Luas passenger numbers.

Luas sees 300k rise in journey numbers

In Dublin, the Railway Procurement Agency has reported that 2012 has been the most successful year to date in terms of Luas passenger numbers.

It is expected that 29.4 million journeys will be made on Luas this year, that is an increase of approximately 300,000 on figures from the year before.

The busiest times this year were at the end of August during the Tall Ships festival, and the month of December.
