Louth punter turns €6 bet into €34,502

A lucky punter in Co Louth punter has won €34,502 from BoyleSports thanks to a €6 bet.

Initially the punter, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed €1 on the numbers 8-12-49 which were drawn in the Euro Millions Plus draw which defied the odds of 1500/1 to win €1501.

The punter’s luck continued as he/she had also staked €1 on the numbers 8-12-41-49 which also came out in the draw to defy the gargantuan odds of 33,000/1 and net the punter €33,001.

As a result, the punter who invested just €6 in total netted a whopping €34,502 from their winning two lines.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports’ spokesperson said: “After a massive May Bank Holiday weekend bashing from punters, another customer has won big with BoyleSports from a small stake in the latest Euro Millions draw.

"We would like to congratulate the Co Louth customer and wish them happy spending with their winnings.

"May has started with punters taking a belt to BoyleSports in what has been the worst month of the year so far but it’s certainly true to say that small stakes can return big dividends."
