Limerick City and County Council has announced that 3,000 on-street car parking spaces in Limerick City will be 'free from three' everyday from today.

Limerick begin parking initiative for festive season

Limerick City and County Council has announced that 3,000 on-street car parking spaces in Limerick City will be 'free from three' everyday from today.

Private carpark owners have joined with the local authority to promote Christmas and New Year shopping in the city centre by reducing parking rates and making special offers.

The initiative for the festive season will include free parking from 3pm, pre-book parking online and €1 an hour on street parking.
