Up to 350 new temporary jobs are being announced at Irish Water in Cork.

The positions are being rolled out at Abtran, a company dealing with Irish Water customers, ahead of the first Irish Water bills which are due in April.

TV3 News says they will be located at call centres in Mahon and Curraheen, to deal with an anticipated increase in the number of customer queries.
