Irish Rail to review overcrowding on trains
Irish Rail has admitted its trains have been more overcrowded than normal in recent weeks.
The company is reconfiguring its services as part of a cost-cutting plan.
Passengers on Intercity routes as well as DART and commuter routes have been paying the price though, with reports of packed carriages.
Spokesperson Barry Kenny says they will review the situation in the New Year.
