An investigation has been launched after shots were fired at a house in Carrickfergus in county Antrim last night.

An investigation has been launched after shots were fired at a house in Carrickfergus in county Antrim last night.

A man, in his 70's, and two young children were in the property at the time but were not injured in the incident.

Police say two men were seen running away from the scene shortly afterwards.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the PSNI.
