There are 419 patients waiting for hospital beds today, according to Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

The organisation's Trolley Watch reports that 294 of those are on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick has the worst overcrowding today, with 36 patients waiting for beds.

Cork University Hospital has 35, while University Hospital Galway has 32.
