HSE: 144 vacant nursing posts in emergency departments will be filled

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation says it has received confirmation from the HSE that all vacant nursing posts in Emergency Departments will be filled.

The INMO says the commitment comes despite a recent announcement to pause recruitment.

The agreement provides for the filling of over 144 staff nurse posts in emergency departments across the country.

The confirmation, that all posts will be filled, was given during the third review of the Emergency Department Agreement today, which was chaired by the Workplace Relations Commission.
