The body of a homeless man has been found at Dublin's Mater hospital.

The body of a homeless man has been found at Dublin's Mater hospital.

It is believed the remains of the dead man, who was not a patient at the hospital, went undiscovered for around a week in April.

According to the Irish Independent, a member of staff found the remains of the man in his 30s in a closed section of the facility.

The HSE was notified but decided not to launch an investigation.
