HIQA CEO leaves post

The Chief Executive of the Health Information and Quality Authority is to step down.

Tracey Cooper is moving to a new role in the UK at the end of May after seven-and-a-half years as the head of HIQA.

Ms Cooper says she is proud to have been involved in the establishment and ongoing development of HIQA

She will take up the position of Chief Executive of Public Health Wales.
