The High Court is due to publish details of a ruling that has prevented RTÉ from airing details of Denis O'Brien's dealings with IBRC this morning.
Lawyers for the businessman and RTÉ argued in court yesterday over which parts of the temporary injunction ruling can be published.
The judge in the case, Mr Justice Donald Binchy, said his ruling never intended to restrain TDs from making comments in the Dáil - or prevent the reporting of them.
In the wake of his statements media outlets published Deputy Catherine Murphy’s comments, made under Dáil privilege, that Denis O’Brien enjoyed what she called favourable interest rates of 1.25% on expired loans with IBRC.
However, Mr O'Brien insists that the information put before the Dáil is wrong.
