Here are the five days when the Dáil bar was the most busy this year

The busiest day for the bar in Government buildings was June 14, the day that Leo Varadkar became Taoiseach.

The till took in €4,610.60 that day, but there have been other profitable days this year.

Along with the Taoiseach's big day in June, July 12 was the second busiest day when the Summer Economic Statement was announced.

Third place goes to February 22, when Enda Kenny told party members that he would sort out Fine Gael's leadership issues.

October 10 takes fourth spot, the day Mr Varadkar and Paschal Donohoe announced their first budget.

Completing the top five is May 10, when a Fine Gael leadership challenge was well underway.
