Gardaí to investigate claims against Nulty
Gardaí are to investigate claims the former Dublin West TD Patrick Nulty sent inappropriate messages to a schoolgirl.
Mr Nulty resigned on Saturday night after admitting sending a series of messages over Facebook.
It is understood the girl's mother made a formal complaint to Gardaí over the weekend.
Gardaí are expected to question the former Deputy as well as examine his computers and mobile phone.
