Gardaí seize €120k of cannabis plants and arrest one man
Gardaí have arrested a man while seizing a large quantity of cannabis plants in Co. Cavan.
Gardaí from the Cavan District and the Regional Support Unit seized 140 cannabis plants during the search of a house near Kilnaleck yesterday evening.
Cultivation equipment was also recovered and a technical examination of the scene is ongoing.
The drugs have an estimated street value of €120,000.
A man in his 20s was arrested during the operation and is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
