Gardaí investigating 'unexplained' death of Mayo woman await toxicology results
Gardaí are awaiting the results of toxicology tests following the discovery of a woman's body at the weekend.
49-year-old Ann Murphy was found at a house in Ballycurran near Glencorrib on the Mayo/Galway border on Sunday afternoon.
The Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster carried out a post mortem on the body yesterday which proved inconclusive.
Gardaí are now awaiting toxicology results and are treating the death as unexplained.
The investigation is ongoing.
