Gardaí investigate as man shot dead in Dublin
A well-known gangland figure has been shot dead in Dublin.
The 39-year-old was gunned down at a housing estate on Cooley Road in Drimnagh earlier this afternoon.
The body is still at the scene and the area where he was shot has been cordoned off.
Gardai have identified the victim but have yet to release his name.
