Gardaí continue to question man in Mayo murder investigation
Gardaí are continuing to question a man in connection with the death of a woman in Co. Mayo over the weekend.
The body of 28-year-old, Sarah Staunton, was found at a house near Mayo Abbey in Balla on Saturday afternoon.
A post mortem was carried out at Mayo General Hospital yesterday and gardaí have launched a murder inquiry.
A man in his early 20s, who was arrested on Saturday night, is being detained at Castlebar garda station.
