Gardaí have confirmed two men armed with hand guns threatened staff of a cash in transit van, at one of the country's largest shopping centres last Sunday.
The raid happened just after 12pm in the grounds of Blanchardstown Shopping centre.
The two men made off with a significant sum of money.
The Irish Independent reports the men made off with €190,000.
Gardaí have said they were wearing balaclavas and boiler suits.
The men fled on foot through the multi-storey car-park and their movements are not known from this point.
