Gardaí arrest man in connection with Offaly murder investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Christy Daly in Co Offaly have arrested a man.
Mr Daly was shot a number of times at Bog Lane, Clara, Co Offaly on December 29, 2013.
His remains were found in a drain close to a burnt out caravan where he lived just outside Clara on January 7.
A 23-year-old man was detained in Tullamore earlier today and is being held under Section 50 Criminal Justice Act 2007 at Tullamore Garda Station.
