Gardaí arrest man in €800k cannabis seizure
Gardaí have sezied around €800,000 worth of cannabis herb in Co. Kildare.
As part of on-going intelligence-led operations targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the area, local Gardaí and from the Garda National Drugs Unit seized 40kg cannabis herb and arrested a man.
The 43-year-old man was arrested at a house at Crossmorris, Co Kildare, yesterday and he is being held at Newbridge Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
